The goal of this project was to design and 3D model a flexible connection that will be 3d printed out of plastic.

 

This exercise helped me develop the SolidWorks skills and understanding of plastic I have today.

The inspiration came to me as I was looking outside my window where I spotted some tall grass crossing over each other. This observation gave me the idea of crossing tendons and thus this pinching mechanism was born.
